How did the implementation go?
Decision process
- Support for the previously used system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015) ended.
- The company recorded global growth, which naturally resulted in the need for a modern ERP system. Among other things, there was a need to integrate processes taking place in different markets (in different countries).
- The client wanted to automate some processes and gain more control over data.
- The client wanted to use cloud-based solutions instead of on-premises.
Solutions
- Very short project completion time (the deadline for completing the work was only 5 months).
- No new employees were hired to manage this project, making it a challenge to manage both the project and daily operational tasks.
- A challenge was launching the system simultaneously in 6 entities across 5 countries (UK, SE, NO, DE, and US).
- The UK team had no prior experience with ERP systems.
The outcome and benefits
• One financial and operational team handling all countries.
• Easier to harmonize and standardize processes between countries.
• Seamless management of updates, environment, and users.
• With the new technology, the ability to access data from anywhere and on any device.
• The possibility to implement extensions.
