Data Analyst

Join Digmatix Lithuania as a Data Analyst and help clients turn data into meaningful business insights. You'll work with Power BI, Microsoft technologies, and business stakeholders to design reporting solutions, support data-driven decision-making, and deliver trusted analytics that create real business value.

Your responsibilities

Turning business questions from clients into clear reporting and analytics deliverables: KPI definitions, report specifications, and the data logic behind them.
Building and maintaining Power BI reports and semantic models, including DAX measures, data modelling, and row-level security.
Preparing and validating data for analysis: profiling source data, reconciling figures against ERP and finance reports, and documenting the rules applied.
Working with data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other ERP, CRM, and operational systems, and understanding how the numbers are produced there.
Running requirements workshops with client finance, sales, and operations teams, and presenting findings and reports back to them
Supporting the Data Engineer and Fabric Specialist with source analysis, data quality checks, and test cases for pipelines and warehouse layers built on Microsoft Fabric
Training client users on delivered reports and helping them adopt a single trusted set of numbers
Contributing to internal reporting and to reusable report packs that we deliver to more than one client

To be successful in this role, you should have

At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a data analyst, BI analyst, or reporting specialist
Strong Power BI skills: data modelling, DAX, Power Query, report design
Good SQL, and the ability to read and check data at the table level, not only in a report
A habit of validating numbers before they are shown, and of documenting how a figure is calculated
Understanding of core business processes and financial reporting concepts (revenue, margin, cost allocation, inventory)
Ability to explain data findings in plain language to non-technical stakeholders
Advanced Excel
Fluent Lithuanian and working English

You will particularly benefit from

A background in manufacturing or distribution: production cost and margin analysis, inventory and stock movements, purchasing, sales and delivery performance, or planning
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP system (SAP, Oracle, NAV)
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (lakehouse, warehouse, semantic models) or Azure data services
Microsoft PL-300 certification, or willingness to obtain it in the first months
Experience in consulting or client-facing role
Basic Python for data checks and analysis
