Grupa Pracuj is one of the leading digital HR platforms in Central and Eastern Europe, operating recruitment and employer branding services that reach millions of users and thousands of organizations daily. As the company’s operations scaled and its data ecosystem grew increasingly complex, Grupa Pracuj recognized the need for a more agile, cloud-based ERP foundation.

By partnering with Digmatix, Grupa Pracuj successfully migrated from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Grupa Pracuj’s existing Dynamics NAV setup had become heavily customized over the years, which proved effective but rigid. As the business model evolved and operational volume increased, the system’s tailor-made structure limited scalability and integration potential.
At the same time, the organization was shifting toward a cloud-first, data-driven model, requiring stronger automation, security, and compliance. Maintaining the legacy NAV environment meant increasing maintenance costs, slower updates, and greater difficulty adapting to change.
The team needed a modern ERP platform that would evolve with Microsoft’s standard, integrate natively with Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform, and strengthen data governance across the enterprise.
The project’s goal was to modernize Grupa Pracuj’s financial operations by migrating to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central while strengthening data governance and compliance. The initiative focused on standardizing finance processes, minimizing customizations, and ensuring full cloud security through Azure AD SSO and MFA. At the same time, it aimed to enable seamless integration with external invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting systems, creating a scalable, future-ready platform designed for continuous evolution and automation.
The project covered the entire financial area in Business Central - general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets. A key element was the integration with external systems: invoicing, automatic payment reconciliation, and feeding data into Power BI. There was also a strong emphasis on compliance with Polish reporting requirements and frameworks for e-invoicing.

The migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was carried out as a precisely managed operational project between Grupa Pracuj and Digmatix. The teams began by establishing strong foundations - restructuring the chart of accounts, cleansing customer and product data, and defining clear responsibilities through a detailed responsibility matrix.
Parallel to this, a comprehensive training plan with workshops, tutorials, and Q&A sessions prepared users for the transition. After conducting process workshops and mapping to the D365BC standard, the joint team designed the integration architecture, built necessary extensions, and executed two testing phases - integration and user acceptance - based on real finance scenarios.
Grupa Pracuj finance team’s migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central delivered tangible, measurable benefits:
Looking ahead, Grupa Pracuj plans to continue developing Business Central and the Microsoft ecosystem, aiming to implement automated electronic banking, strengthen regulatory compliance, and leverage the D365BC Copilot to support reconciliations and journal entries.
"Digmatix combined technical expertise with a deep understanding of business context. Their structured yet flexible approach allowed us to keep the project moving steadily and transparently.
Collaboration between Grupa Pracuj and Digmatix was seamless, with consultants, architects, developers, and process owners working from a shared Azure DevOps backlog and holding regular demos and steering committees to monitor progress and manage risks.”
