Brand Distribution is a company that has been focused on modernity and dynamic growth for years. As a result, it adapts to the changing needs of the market. A measure of this development is, among other things, the tools used on a daily basis in the company's operations. For many years, the company has been utilizing solutions offered by Microsoft, such as Outlook and Teams, which support the organization in its daily activities. Therefore, choosing an ERP system from Microsoft was a natural step. Additionally, an important factor influencing the decision was the anticipated implementation of KSeF, which introduced new requirements for adapting the financial and accounting system. Ultimately, the choice fell on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, which, due to its flexibility and integration with other solutions, was recognized as the solution that best met the needs of the Brand Distribution Group.
Based on the needs analysis conducted in collaboration with the Brand Distribution team, the necessary requirements for ensuring the smooth operation of the system were identified. The FDD documents containing these requirements were then submitted for verification and approval, and modified if necessary. Once the analysis phase was completed, EIP developers moved on to the system implementation. The deployment initially involved three Polish companies belonging to the Brand Distribution Group. These companies needed to collaborate systemically. In addition to commercial activities, the system had to handle logistics, transport, as well as accounting and finance. A single Master database was created to manage data such as inventory and client records, which was then replicated to the other companies. Functional testing was conducted in various scenarios until the final system launch.
Employees of Brand Distribution Group highlight several features of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that significantly support their daily work and improve operational efficiency. One of the key features is the automatic generation of Intrastat declarations, which simplifies processes related to reporting international trade in goods. Another highlighted functionality is the automation of the order submission process to suppliers. With this feature, the system automatically attaches the relevant files to the email messages. Additionally, a reservation system was built, which was not available in the standard version, along with a synchronized transport module. A representative from Brand Distribution Group emphasized that with each passing month, users of the system are gaining a better understanding of the benefits of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
"EIP Dynamics (part of Digmatix) is a leading partner in the Polish market when it comes to implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Brand Distribution selects the best partners for collaboration."
